Frequently Asked Questions

What is life-coaching?

If there is a gap between where you are now and where you want to be, then you have a need for Rise and Shine Life Coaching.

The objective is to focus on your unrealized ability by leveraging your strengths, uncovering what’s in your way, and targeting the areas you are most interested in addressing to help you reach your goals.

Several professionals will provide a solution and leave you to implement it, but I will stay with you to help you integrate the changes, new skills, and goals to make sure they truly happen.

It is one thing to have the information and quite another to actually make the change!

What does a coach do?

Before I share my coaching approach, I would like to talk about how I will approach you, the client. I believe that you are resourceful and capable of far more than you imagine. I believe that you have an amazing purpose attached to your life. I believe with consistent effort, you will be proud of who you’re becoming and love the new you.

My approach to coaching is a Holy Spirit led process designed to draw out powerful and intentional conversations. These conversations are intended to inspire new perceptions to create directional clarity, achieve personal goals, and increase the quality of your life.

What happens in coaching?

We will start with your end goal in mind and work our way back by discussing your want and need out of coaching. Afterwards we will proceed through our sessions with me asking you several powerful questions to lead you through various exercises related to your goal.

Lastly, we will develop a strategic plan for you to follow through in preparation for our next session. I’m also available to provide email or text pop-ins to encourage you in between sessions and to remind you of God’s promises around your end goal.

** Everything we discuss is 100% confidential and unless you tell someone that we are working together (or complete a form to provide me permission to do so) no one will know that we have spoken **
